My name is Rajan Kaur Saini and I run Buddha’s Smile School in Sarnath, India.

Buddha’s Smile School is a free, privately run, non-denominational school. It’s a good school, a place for needy and helpless children who cannot afford an education to learn and grow. At the moment we have 220 children in the school, aged 4 to 13 years.

We teach them English, Hindi, Math, Social Study, Science, Moral Science, General Knowledge, Craft, Drawing, Music and Sanskrit. There are a lot of children on our waiting list but we do not have the funds or regular sponsors so it is hard for us to take them. We are trying our best. There are so many children.
